Every Child Can! -An Introduction to Suzuki Education
Sharon Miller, Teacher Trainer
July 18th, 2009
This one-day training is the essential introduction to the Suzuki Method of Music Learning, and provides the participant with the basic philosophy and background of the method. The course provides a fresh look at early childhood education and human development as well as how to introduce young minds to the world of music. Many parents and music educators take the course to help them improve their musical interaction with young students.
For aspiring Suzuki teachers, this course must be completed before any other Suzuki courses can be taken, a potential participant must have completed Every Child Can!© - an Introduction to Suzuki Education. Because the Every Child Can!© course is unique, details about its content, organization, and specific requirements are described separately from the regular Short-Term Unit Courses. You will find further information about ECC!© in section 2 of the SAA's manual at suzukiassocation.org.
The Every Child Can! course traditionally fills very quickly. If you are interested, please fill out the teacher development registration form today and send it in (with your registration check). Course placement is filled on a first come, first serve basis.
