Meet the Composers' Artsy Friends
(Visual Arts)

Discover famous artists who lived at the same time as some of your favorite composers. Could Dvorak, who wrote Humoresque, have had a conversation with Vincent Van Gogh, who painted many beautiful sunflowers? What art did Mozart see in his life? Did Brahms ever see Monet’s water lily paintings? Come have fun with us as we use art materials, and of course our imaginations, to explore the techniques of famous artists from these time periods. This is a hands-on art class, so please wear easily washed clothes or bring a smock to cover up.
