    Suzuki Student Registration

We have courses for students ages 3-17. If your child is an advanced player and a teenager, we encourage you to look into the Young Artist Program.
Your child will be placed in appropriate repertoire groups, performing classes, and master classes based on their working piece.
Parents are an essential part of the Suzuki Institute experience. A parent (or other responsible adult trusted by the parent) should accompany the student to each class every day of Institute. It does not have to be the same parent every day. Students must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Recital piece must be polished and approved by the private teacher. Preferably, it will be a piece that has previously been performed on a recital.
All students performing on a recital will have a ten-minute rehearsal with their accompanist. This will be scheduled on Opening Day. If the piece you are performing is not in the Suzuki books, please bring the accompaniment part on Opening Day.
If you are not planning to perform on a recital, please write N/A. Your child's recital piece should not be their 'newest' piece. It must be polished and memorized.
All students are placed in one elective. Students in Book 2 + are also placed in Orchestra. If you would like your student in Book 1 to receive an extra elective, please indicate in the Comment Box. The additional cost will be $35/week. Otherwise, Book 1 students will have two free periods a day.
Each registered student will only receive one elective. We will do everything we can do give you your first choice. However, sometimes it is impossible with scheduling. Please provide a *different* second choice!
Please see Electives Page for descriptions
Would you like to order an Institute T-Shirt ($15)?  All proceeds will go towards our Institute Scholarship fund.
If you want to order more than one t-shirt, please indicate number and sizes in comment box below.
Please click here for the T-Shirt Sizing Guide
Please show your Institute pride! Tuesday will be T-Shirt Day. Wear your T-shirt for our Institute Photo.
Cafeteria-style lunches served in the Milton Hershey School Cafeteria. There's always a choice of salad bar, sandwhiches, and a hot meal choice. If you have special dietary needs, we recommend finding other arrangements for food.
By registering my child, I acknowledge as legal parent/guardian that I am solely responsible for my child during Institute and that I must accompany and supervise my child at all times on the Milton Hershey Campus.  If I cannot be present, I will arrange for a trustworthy family member or friend to accompany and supervise my child at all times.  I understand that the Pennsylvania Suzuki Institute, the Milton Hershey School  and all staff and faculty members are not held liable in any  way for the care of my child, or our personal belongings.
